Design Challenge

Develop a compact and structurally practical electric go-kart while integrating the drivetrain, steering, braking and driver space within limited packaging constraints.

Your Contribution

Developed the mechanical concept, CAD models, chassis arrangement and component packaging, and supported fabrication and assembly of the vehicle.

Key Result

Successfully designed and fabricated a functional electric go-kart capable of reaching approximately 70 km/h.

Deliverables

3D CAD models of Parts and Assembles, chassis design, Simulations of Static Loads, assembly model, fabrication drawings, project photographs, detailed report and final vehicle.
